About the Project
The recent Presidential election fostered an unprecedented interest in the political process, both in the U.S. and internationally. Across a broad range of issues, some fresh and some familiar, people are deeply engaged and lending their voice to the discussion.
Change in Command is an independent, non-partisan project which aims to continue this dialogue through the upcoming Inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama. We will explore 44 issues in 44 days through a simple format of daily questions, featured responses from notable individuals in their respective fields, and the corresponding public response.
